One of Indonesian guest workers has to be cheated by broker. He was Taufiqurrahman (33), who comes from Tulungagung. Purposed to change his fate by being the Indonesian guest workers in USA, he has to be cheated by the man who was broker of Indonesian guest workers.

Taufiqurrahman had forfeited money as much as Rp 52 million. The man who cheated him comes from Blitar, East Java. His name was Aziz Irawan (33). Head of Bina Mitra Tulungagung Police Department, Kompol Suparno said that the police is pursuing the broker now.

The deception started when the victim confused about the procedure to be migrant in USA. Suddenly, the suspected came to the victim’s house and offered a helping hand. The victim should gave an amount of money by reason of administration cost.

The victim has bill of payment which can be the evidences for him. He had been paying in suspect’s account for six times. Now, all of the evidences is in the police. The police is investigating this case right now.

Two officer of BNP2TKI were reported to police by the Head of Association of Indonesia labour company (Himsataki), Yunus Yamani. They were Muslikun and Sudiro Teguh Wibowo. They were reported because they sent 153 Indonesian guest workers to New Zealand without trough Indonesian guest worker agency.

Head of Association of Indonesia labour company (Himsataki), Yunus Yamani said that the sending of Indonesian guest workers had been going since 2 November 2007 until 2 February 2008. He said that those rightful to send the Indonesian guest workers are agencies.

According to clause 4 in UU 39 years 2004, the rightful to send the Indonesian guest workers are Indonesian labour companies. It is because the Indonesian labour agency has to deposit money IDR 500 million and consign the company’s business license. Yunus said that the police has to investigate this case.
